"Remember my article in the September 2006 Brushmark about REJECTIONS? I mentioned my many rejections by the Pastel Society of America for signature statues.
Well all I can say: Rejection is the first step to being accepted! Yes, I was accepted and you will see from now on the three little letters of PSA behind my name. Does it make a difference how I paint from now on...NO, but it made me try harder in the past to meet their standards. I am glad, you did let me share that with you and I'ld like to take the opportunity to wish you all a creative summer."
